A Greener Greenbank!

Greenbank Greens have been out and about cleaning up the local neighbourhood, including litter picks on Nicander Avenue and along Greenbank Drive – which was supported by Liverpool Muslim Outreach (LMO). Greenbank Greens hold monthly community litter picks with LMO and all are welcome to join!

Kay Inckle said: “We can all help out in making our environment a cleaner and nicer place to be. This will encourage everyone to be more considerate and respect the local environment.”

There are a number of regular litter picks around Greenbank you can join in. Bags, gloves and litter pickers are provided:

Community litter pick: Sat 20th July 3pm. Meet at Naked Lunch café (Smithdown Road).

Friends of Greenbank park litter pick: last Sunday of the month 11:30am. Meet at Gorsebank Road entrance to the park.

Friends of Sefton Park litter pick: Sundays 11.30am-12.30pm meet at Gino’s Café.

Tiny Rick’s litter pick: Tues 6th August 2-7pm (and following first Tuesday of the month). Meet at Tiny Ricks Café (Smithdown Road). Free hot drink for every full bag of litter collected!
